Accessing Parish Email Using Outlook on the Web

This guide explains how to access a parish email account using a web browser.

Before you begin

You should have received a welcome email at your personal email address. The welcome email will:

  • include the parish email address
  • include the password
  • link to this guide
  • explain who to contact if you need help

The welcome email will usually come from it@parishofchingford.org.uk, although it may occasionally be forwarded to you by another parish office holder such as the rector or a churchwarden.

If you cannot find the welcome email, please check your spam or junk folder before requesting assistance.

Further assistance

If you still cannot find the welcome email or you need further assistance, please contact the Parish IT Administrator at it@parishofchingford.org.uk.

Troubleshooting

I don’t know my password

Please check the welcome email sent to your personal email address.

Microsoft says my password is incorrect

Please check that the password has been entered exactly as shown in the welcome email sent to your personal email address.

If copying and pasting the password, make sure you have not accidentally included an extra space before or after the password.
