Welcome to
the Church of England in Chingford ~
two churches united in faithful prayer, worship & service
A welcome from the Parish
Please visit our News page for information on our Parish life, and to the Contact page for details of our Ministry Team
Welcome to the Church of England in Chingford. We are two churches, seeking to be faithful in prayer, constant in our worship of God and devoted in our service to our community.
We seek to be a welcoming community that worships in the modern catholic tradition in our two historic churches. SS Peter and Paul, the parish church, has a unique choral tradition, taking from the best of traditional and contemporary music. We host many community events in our halls, we are serious about understanding more about our faith, and we offer activities for children in a safe and supportive environment.
We have a strong pastoral ministry for those who want to be baptised, who seek God’s blessing on their marriage, or who, in grief, come to mark the ending of a loved one’s life.
As Scripture encourages us: “We come before God’s throne, to share in the inheritance of the saints.”
And you are most welcome to join us.
Hilary Musker and Marilyn Claydon, Associate Priests.
There is currently a vacancy for a Rector. Please see the advertisement here – closing date 27 November.
