MD-FATHER-TRENIER006Welcome to Chingford Parish, a busy Anglican parish on the edge of the greatest city in the world! Welcome if you are North Chingford, South Chingford, not Chingford, or just passing by. Welcome if you’re ‘just browsing,’ just woke up, or just got out of prison. Welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, gay, confused, filthy rich, comfortable, or dirt poor.

Welcome if you’re more Christian than the Archbishop of Canterbury, or haven’t been in church since little Jack’s christening. Welcome if you are still in recovery or still addicted. Welcome if you could just use a prayer right now.

Welcome if you’re having problems or you’re down in the dumps or if you don’t like ‘organised religion’, if you blew all your money on the horses, if you work too hard, don’t work, don’t know anything about ‘church’ or are only here because grandma is in town and she wanted to go to church. Welcome seekers and doubters, saints and sinners, regulars, visitors, friends and strangers.  

There is something for all at the two churches and several congregations in this great parish.  As you browse the site I hope you find what you are looking for. If you would like to speak in person don’t hesitate to be in touch or drop by.

ST LUKE THE EVANGELIST- THIS SUNDAY   This Sunday the Parish celebrates the life and ministry of St Luke, Doctor, Painter, Author of a quarter of the New Testament. There will be Festal Eucharists with Anointing of Holy Oil for Healing, Sunday Clubs and Creche at 10am:                  At All Saints (the Old Church) the Parish Community Choir, Purple Praise, will be singing.                At the Ss Peter & Paul (the Parish Church) the Parish and Girls’ Choirs will sing.  The Music may be found HERE At 6.30pm there will be a short meditative service with silence, songs, and reflections on Healing led by Fr Lee.     THIS WEEK’S WEEKLY SHEET CAN BE FOUND HERE
