Welcome to
Chingford Parish

Two vibrant Anglican churches on the edge
of the best city
in the world

A welcome from the Rector

MD-FATHER-TRENIER006Welcome to Chingford Parish, a busy Anglican parish on the edge of the greatest city in the world! Welcome if you are North Chingford, South Chingford, not Chingford, or just passing by. Welcome if you’re ‘just browsing,’ just woke up, or just got out of prison. Welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, gay, confused, filthy rich, comfortable, or dirt poor.

Welcome if you’re more Christian than the Archbishop of Canterbury, or haven’t been in church since little Jack’s christening. Welcome if you are still in recovery or still addicted. Welcome if you could just use a prayer right now.

Welcome if you’re having problems or you’re down in the dumps or if you don’t like ‘organised religion’, if you blew all your money on the horses, if you work too hard, don’t work, don’t know anything about ‘church’ or are only here because grandma is in town and she wanted to go to church. Welcome seekers and doubters, saints and sinners, regulars, visitors, friends and strangers.

There is something for all at the two churches and several congregations in this great parish.  As you browse the site I hope you find what you are looking for. If you would like to speak in person don’t hesitate to be in touch or drop by.

Thanks for visiting.

Fr. Andy
