ALL SAINTS SUNDAY This Sunday is the Patronal Festival of Chingford All Saints, (the Old Church). There will be a Sung Eucharist at 10am with the Ven. Elwin Cockett, Archdeacon of West Ham, preaching. Donations to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal will also be collected and prayed for during the service. ST LUKE THE EVANGELIST- THIS SUNDAY This Sunday the Parish celebrates the life and ministry of St Luke, Doctor, Painter, Author of a quarter of the New Testament. There will be Festal Eucharists with Anointing of Holy Oil for Healing, Sunday Clubs and Creche at 10am: At All Saints (the Old Church) the Parish Community Choir, Purple Praise, will be singing. At the Ss Peter & Paul (the Parish Church) the Parish and Girls’ Choirs will sing. HARVEST FESTIVAL This Sunday is the Parish Harvest Festival. ALL AGE Services at 10am at All Saints and Ss Peter & Paul Festal Evensong at 6.30pm at Ss Peter & Paul Do come to one of the services and say 'THANKS TO GOD'! There will be food collections for the E4 Eat or Heat Foodbank . THE FEAST OF THE This Sunday is the Feast of the Transfiguration. There are morning services at 8am (Fr Andy) and 10am (Katherine Ward) at Ss Peter & Paul (the Parish Church) and 10am (Mth Sarah) at All Saints (the Old Church). At 6.30 there is the second of a series of three Summer Meditations- a 40 minute service of music, silence, prayer, and reflection.
ALL AGE SERVICES on the FESTIVAL OF Ss PETER & PAUL Both Churches in the Parish will be celebrating this great day by exploring the stories of Ss Peter & Paul and how that connects to our own stories today. The 10am Services will be All-Age Services with a Parade of Guides and Brownies at the Parish Church and music sung by the Parish Girl's Choir. Come along at 10am, bring the whole family, invite a friend, and enjoy a great time of worship, testimony, and a celebration of the Eucharist.
