The beating heart of parish life is the daily cycle of worship.

From simple fun toddler services to great Festive occasions, from packed noisy school services to grand civic services there is a great variety of worship across the parish and something for the whole family. Daily prayers, regular Eucharists, and many other special services are offered with care and reverence engaging every sense with wonderful music and beautiful, accessible liturgy.

There is lots on for children and families.  Look out especially for Chingford Cherubs on Mondays, CY Club on Wednesdays, lots of singing, and the All Age Eucharists, held on the first Sunday every month at both churches.

The Parish has a strong and thriving musical tradition and several excellent choirs enrich the worship at both churches.  See the MUSIC pages for more details.  During term time Sunday services at the Parish Church are sung by one of the Parish Church choirs and once a month at the Old Church the service is sung by the Purple Praise Community Choir.

Even though our buildings are closed because of coronavirus, the Church continues to be alive and active.  Under our News Blog tab we have links to online materials to help you with biblical reflection, spiritual communion, and personal devotion.

You may find the Church of England’s services of Daily Prayer helpful: they are updated each day so all you have to do is click on which one you want and follow it through.  These are what the clergy and ministers of our parish and of many others use. There is also a free App – search for “Daily Prayer” and you will go straight to it.

Please leave a phone or email message for one of the ministry team (see Contact tab)  if you would like us to pray with you or offer spiritual guidance over the phone.

If you have not been receiving updates from us by Email and would like to, please Email  for your name to be added to our list

Through all of this, the Parish Leadership Team are working to support the Parish and local community. Be assured of our prayers.
