WELCOME BACK TO A NEW TERM AT CHINGFORD PARISH

After a long restful summer we begin a new term together with a full Autumn schedule of services from this Sunday 9th September and a Parish Bring and Share Lunch at The Rectory (E4 &ER) at 12pm.  All are most welcome, especially if you are new in the parish in recent months.

6.30 pm       Induction of the Rev’d Hilary Musker, as Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) at All Saints

16th September Battle of Britain Memorial Service

          6.30 pm       A Service focussing on the role of Women in the Battle

 

30th September Fr Lee’s First Mass

6.30 pm       Sung Eucharist at All Saints

7th October        Harvest Thanksgiving Festival

          10 am          An All Age Service for the whole community

 

14th October      Service to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week

          3 pm           A service of remembrance for all who have lost a child

 

14th October      Confirmation Service

          6.30 pm       Deanery Baptisms and Confirmations

 

1st  November   All Souls Requiem Mass

8 pm           A candlelit musical remembrance for all the community who have lost loved ones in recent years

 

11th November  Remembrance Sunday

10.45 am     Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial

11.30 am     Remembrance Sunday Service in church

                   

1st December     Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols

4pm            A concert of wonderful music sung by the Chingford Singers

 

2nd  December   Advent Sunday

10 am          All Age Worship for all the family

6.30 pm       Get ready for Christmas with Advent carols by candlelight
