In 2019 the Parish Church is 175 years young To celebrate our heritage as 'A Church that Sings' we will be organising a range of activities and embarking on the largest renovation and redecoration that we have ever seen. The first phase, which we are already in, sees £330,000 of surveying, roof and stone repairs, minor re-ordering and a total paint-removal and will be completed next Spring. To celebrate our birthday we have been awarded £250K pounds by the Heritage Lottery Fund (www.hlf.org.uk) for the first of the phases of works
